Coding from Day One + Entrepreneurship Team Project
You will begin coding in your very first semester—even with no prior experience. Through a hands-on approach, you will learn how engineers break down problems, design solutions, and write clean functional code. Simultaneously, interdisciplinary teams tackle an eight-month entrepreneurship project to identify a real problem, build a prototype, and launch a small venture.
Software Design Team Project
Work in teams on an eight-month software design project that mirrors professional engineering practice. You will complete requirements gathering, system design, collaborative coding using version control, testing, debugging, documentation, and deployment with real user feedback.
Industry Consulting Project
Collaborate with a real client in a four-month consulting engagement. You will translate client needs into technical solutions, communicate professionally, and deliver working software under real-world constraints while continuing to build your portfolio.
